Introducing TITAN Bonded Sashes—where the glass takes the lead and the frame steps back. Our innovative design bonds glass to the external edge of the aluminium sash, creating a cleaner, slimmer look with more uninterrupted views and a stronger, more unified structure. Discover a new standard in door and window design.
Less Visible Aluminium
Clean External Plane
Glass + Aluminium Together
Air & Water Infiltration
Architects have long pushed for wider openings, finer sightlines and fewer interruptions between inside and out. But conventional sash construction eventually reaches a physical limit: the glass still needs space around it, and that space becomes visible aluminium.
TITAN Bonded Sashes change the arrangement itself—moving the glass to the external face and allowing the glass and aluminium to work together structurally.
Every attempt to make a conventional aluminium sash slimmer runs into the same problem. The glass sits inside an aluminium pocket, with glazing blocks, gaskets and clearance around its edge. These prevent the glass from bearing directly against the metal and allow both materials to move without damaging one another.
Each part is necessary. Together, they occupy the area architects are trying to reduce. Across a wide opening, even a few millimetres repeat. The frame becomes more prominent, and what was intended to read as a wall of glass begins to look like a series of framed doors.
We could have kept refining the same arrangement. Instead, we changed it.
The TITAN Bonded Sash places the glass on the external face of an aluminium profile, joining the two with a structural adhesive. This removes the conventional internal glazing pocket and perimeter packers, reducing visible aluminium around the sash by up to 30%, depending on the surrounding system.
From the outside, the glass and sash form a clean, flush plane. The glass runs closer to the edge and the aluminium becomes less prominent. Across several panels, the elevation reads more continuously. Operable sections sit more naturally beside fixed glazing, and the eye is drawn through the opening rather than around each sash.
That visual difference is only part of the story.
In a conventional sash, the aluminium does most of the work of resisting wind pressure and controlling deflection. The glass is supported by the frame, but is largely treated as an infill.
Bonding creates a continuous connection between the glass and aluminium. The glass is no longer simply carried by the sash; it contributes to the rigidity of the panel. This creates the opportunity for a genuinely slimmer profile. We are not simply removing aluminium and asking what remains to work harder. The two materials are designed to carry the load together.
The aim is not to pretend the frame does not exist. A working door or window still needs structure, seals, hardware and a controlled path of movement. The better question is how to retain that function without allowing it to dominate the elevation.
Our mitred corners reflect meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail, ensuring beautifully seamless Bi-fold door panels. With a thoughtfully engineered 43mm sash depth, this design not only delivers a refined, luxurious appearance, but also enhances performance—eliminating gaps, leaks, and distracting noises common with traditional butt joints.
The result is effortless elegance and a pristine look, free from accumulating leaves or dirt, truly elevating the style and comfort of your space.
The TITAN Bonded Sash is being made available as a component for compatible window and door systems, rather than locked inside one proprietary product. Fabricators and system designers can develop their own frames, hardware, finishes and configurations around it.
That distinction is deliberate. It gives fabricators a foundation from which to create their own products, and architects greater freedom to pursue a particular proportion, finish or architectural language.
Develop your own compatible frames, finishes, and hardware packages around the bonded sash.
Support elevations that read more continuously across multiple panels and openings.
Maintain structure and performance while reducing the visual weight of operable panels.
Bonding is not a shortcut: glass selection, joint design, surface preparation, fabrication control, and testing matter.
